79-year-old Grandfather of 5 deliberately murdered by Palestinian terrorist

Faces of the Victims has published the story of Solomon Hoenig, a 79-year-old Israeli grandfather of 5 who was deliberately murdered by a genocide bomber from the Palestinian Hamas ("Islamic Resistance" in Arabic):

Solomon Hoenig, 79 Grandfather of 5 Murdered by a Palestinian terrorist
On September 19, 2002, Solomon Hoenig, 79, of Tel Aviv was one of six people killed when a suicide terrorist detonated a bomb in Dan bus No. 4 on Allenby Street, opposite the Great Synagogue in Tel-Aviv. Hamas claimed responsbility for the attack.

The explosion was set off by the suicide bomber shortly before 13:00 PM in the front section of the bus. The bus had been en route from the central bus station to northern Tel Aviv. The bomber apparently boarded the bus at a stop opposite the synagogue and then detonated the device, killing six and wounding about 70. The blast scorched the bus and blew out its windows.

Solomon Hoenig apparently boarded Bus No. 4 at the same station as the suicide bomber and was killed on the spot. He immigrated to Israel from Romania in 1959 with his wife Anna. He had worked at various jobs, primarily sealing refrigerated rooms. The couple had in recent years been living in an old-age home in Tel-Aviv. His son Avi described him as a "good person and a good husband, a modest family man."

Solomon Hoenig was buried in Holon. He is survived by his wife Anna, his son Avi, his daughter Shoshi, and five grandchildren.

Genocide bomber? Never heard that term used before. Appropriate though.
