Bumper Stickers for Hybrid Car Owners
A couple of years ago, I wrote an article on the Toyota Prius, a Hybrid/Electric car that gets 50 miles per gallon. For the details see:
I have created two bumper stickers and a license plate frame for hybrid car owners:

That's fanatic crap.

Why is this "fanatic crap"? Take this into consideration:
* The 2005 Toyota Prius gets roughly 60 miles per gallon (the 2002 Toyota Prius gets 50 MPG).
* Most SUVs get between 5 to 8 miles per gallon.
* If we improved the average MPG for all cars in the US by ONE MPG, this would be the equivalent of all of the oil in Alaska for one day of consumption!
* If we improved the average MPG for all cars in the US by 10 MPG, we would not need to purchase any oil from Saudia Arabia or any other Islamic Supremacist country.
So, if you drive a Toyota Prius, you are effectively working towards cutting the funds for Al-Qaeda, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other Islamic supremacists.
You are effectively $tarving terrorists.
"Name", what car do you drive?

I drive a mildly modified 1988 Honda Civic.

We need more bumper stickers like this. How best to succinctly communicate that we need to raise our fuel efficiency -- for many reasons: increasing costs, national security, and environmental concerns.
Sadly, while Brazil stuck with their initiative to wean themselves off foreign oil, succeeding finally this year, we discarded the efforts begun by Jimmy Carter in the late 70s and are now facing a new kind of multi-front war: political/military conflicts and imminent ecological catastrophe.
Keep it up.

I drive a 2008 dodge ram 5.7 hemi 4*4 and city I get about 10 miles to the gallon and highway I get 21. But I would rather drive this than a inport car any day.

None(hemi owner), maybe if you had an imported car it would help your spelling... anyway, i'm glad you're spending your disposable income on gas at 3.5/gal & 10mpg rather than buying more guns or donating to mccain's campaign...

Personally, I like the bumper sticker that says, "I'd rather buy green Japanese technology than dirty Arabic oil!"
